Our Mission Statement and Philosophy...
We, the community of Mission Dolores School, a part of the evangelization ministry of Mission Dolores Parish, base our philosophy of education on our belief in the fundamental dignity and uniqueness of the individual as created in God’s image. We acknowledge the presence of Jesus in the sacramental and ministerial life of the Church. We believe Catholic education is a process of growth that engages the student in every dimension of his/her life--spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural, and physical. Our school complements and supports the efforts of parents/guardians, who are the primary educators of their children.
It is our mission to facilitate the development of the whole person. We strive to provide a balanced curriculum in a nurturing environment where students are challenged:
