Mission Dolores School is dedicated to making use of current technology to facilitate learning among students and teachers. Students are challenged to use our technology resources to enhance their understanding of and involvement in curriculum. Our challenge is to stay current with technological change.
Beginning in Kindergarten, all the way through Junior High, Mission Dolores students are exposed to our computer labs which not only develop experience with technology, but also strengthen curriculum in the classroom. Students are constantly challenged with tasks that help develop reading, writing, math, and science
The Acceptable Use Policy must be read carefully and signed before students may access the computer lab. A copy of that contract is available here:
In addition to our Computer Lab, this year Mission Dolores has gone one step further by bringing new technology directly to the classroom with new, fully interactive smart boards. By combining the power of a computer with front projection and the simplicity of a white board, students are exposed to multimedia experiences that enhance their learning in a whole new way.
Lessons and curriculum are presented with rich audio, video, and images that help teach our students in a fully interactive environment.
